Oceancrest was engaged by the Special Servicer of a CMBS Securitization collateralized by a pool of approximately 200 defaulted franchise loans to provide initial due diligence services. The assignment included a full review of all the loan documents, servicing files, and third party reports, to aid in determining lender recourse and to protect the investment of the Trust.
Resulting data was stratified in accordance with the client's objective of identifying risks and potential discounts when positioning the portfolio for a note sale. A number of third-party market research reports and valuation tools were utilized. These reports entail pertinent overall market and submarket data that was important in markets with less than desirable available data. Completion of the due diligence services in the most accurate and efficient, yet timely, manner was achieved.
